Sportsbook Risk Trader

Job Summary

Data-driven and sports-obsessed, the full-time remote Sportsbook Risk Trader will manage risk across Sportsbook products, monitor betting activity, and mentor Associate Traders while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance the overall betting experience.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor ticker for sharp action and escalate appropriately
• Manage bet limits and market restrictions by customer type or segment
• Analyze player-level profitability and behavior, adjusting limits based on real-time data

Required qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years of experience in a trading environment (preferred, not required)
• Bachelor's degree (BSc/BA) or equivalent in a relevant field such as Mathematics, Engineering, or Sciences
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent mathematical skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to precision
