Job Summary
Owning the spot quoting process, the full-time Spot Pricing Analyst will analyze freight quote requests, build competitive rates, and monitor margin performance in a remote-friendly role, preferably for candidates based in Texas, Tennessee, or the Charlotte, NC area.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze and respond to spot freight quote requests across FTL and cross-border lanes
- Build competitive spot rates using market data and historical lane performance
- Monitor margin performance and collaborate with sales and operations leadership on pricing strategies
Required qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in freight pricing, carrier sales, or logistics operations within a North American trucking or brokerage environment
- Solid understanding of US spot market dynamics and FTL lane pricing
- Proficiency in Excel and experience with TMS platforms and rate tools (DAT, Truckstop, or similar)
- Analytical mindset with the ability to balance competitive pricing and margin discipline
- Comfortable in a high-volume, fast-moving quoting environment
