Spot Pricing Analyst
Job Summary
Supporting the growing US commercial operations, the full-time remote Spot Pricing Analyst will manage the spot quoting process for key North American lanes, building competitive rates to assist the sales team in closing business and optimizing network efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze and respond to spot freight quote requests across FTL and cross-border lanes
- Build competitive spot rates using market data, historical performance, and carrier cost inputs
- Monitor margin performance on spot business and provide insights to sales and operations leadership
Required qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in freight pricing, carrier sales, or logistics operations within a North American trucking or brokerage environment
- Solid understanding of US spot market dynamics and FTL lane pricing
- Proficiency in Excel; experience with TMS platforms and rate tools (DAT, Truckstop, or similar) strongly preferred
- Analytical mindset with the ability to balance competitive pricing and margin discipline
- Comfortable in a high-volume, fast-moving quoting environment
