SQF Technical Reviewer

Job Summary

To support the Food & Nutrition Division, an Independent Contractor SQF Technical Reviewer will assess and complete technical reviews of SQF audit reports on an as-needed basis, ensuring compliance with quality and accreditation standards in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical reviews of SQF audits and audit reports
• Conduct technical and quality assurance reviews of audit reports within specified turnaround times
• Evaluate and potentially reject or return audit reports that do not meet quality standards, providing necessary feedback to auditors

Required qualifications

• 2 years of work experience in food safety and/or quality management
• Completion of at least 80 hours of food safety auditing in the food industry
• Education degree in Food Technology
• Completion of SQF Professional Development annual training
• Standard Certificate in Auditing SQF Systems and HACCP Certificate
