SQL Application Support Engineer

Job Summary

Working fully remotely, the SQL Application Support Engineer will analyze and resolve data issues, write SQL queries for reporting, and automate tasks through scripting while supporting customer inquiries and collaborating with development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and resolve data issues in a complex database environment
• Write SQL queries and stored procedures for reporting and automation
• Diagnose customer-reported issues and maintain communication regarding open inquiries

Required qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of SQL, including joins, CTEs, and window functions
• Proven ability to write complex SQL queries from scratch and perform updates in production environments
• Experience with at least one major programming language such as C#, Python, or Java
• Strong technical troubleshooting skills and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience is preferred
