Job Summary

A company is looking for a SQL Database Administrator to support a project with the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of SQL and unstructured data within the HSP technology stack
Install, configure, and maintain database systems including SQL Server and Azure SQL
Monitor and optimize database performance, ensuring high levels of data availability and security

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline
5+ years of experience using Microsoft SQL Server
Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and data mapping tools
Strong understanding of database management systems and ETL frameworks
Knowledge of database architecture, administration, and security for cloud-hosted systems
