SQL Database Administrator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a SQL Database Administrator to manage and optimize enterprise-scale SQL Server environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage large-scale SQL Server databases across on-premises and cloud environments, optimizing architectures for performance
• Lead performance optimization efforts, including query tuning, indexing, and ensuring high availability through replication and failover clustering
• Automate DBA tasks, perform installations and upgrades, and monitor system health and security compliance

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in SQL Server database administration and architecture
• Strong expertise in SQL Server 2017 and newer versions
• Proven experience with replication, performance tuning, and index management
• Solid understanding of OLTP and data warehouse design principles
• Experience with Azure SQL, Synapse Analytics, and AWS RDS
