SQL Database Administrator

Job Summary

Focusing on patching and vulnerability management, the full-time SQL Database Administrator will maintain data security by identifying, testing, and remediating weaknesses in database systems while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform security updates to SQL databases in coordination with operations support and subject matter experts
• Test and implement security controls in collaboration with the Security Team
• Act as a liaison between database users and technical teams to facilitate effective communication and data management

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, with an emphasis on database design and management
• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a SQL Database Administrator
• 3+ years of experience supporting SQL Server Clustering
• Experience working with Windows Server OS
• Healthcare knowledge preferred
