SQL Database Administrator
Job Summary
Responsible for the implementation, configuration, migration, maintenance, security, and performance of SQL Server RDBMS systems, the full-time SQL Database Administrator will work remotely to troubleshoot database issues and assist in report creation as needed.
Key responsibilities
- Designs and coordinates the development of logical and physical databases as part of project teams
- Estimates time and costs for database-related projects and attends specification meetings to determine project scope
- Develops data models and writes descriptions for user access and physical database requirements to ensure data security
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience
- Experience in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of IT protocols and reporting software
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
