Job Summary

Transforming complex healthcare claims data into actionable insights, the remote SQL Engineer Analyst will create advanced SQL expressions, troubleshoot SQL issues, and collaborate with clinical staff to enhance medical case review processes.

Key responsibilities

• Create advanced SQL and Spark SQL expressions for data extraction and table construction
• Collaborate with medical staff to improve efficiencies in clinical case reviews and lead initiatives in clinical policy automation
• Utilize prompt engineering to develop advanced prompts for medical record research and ensure data integrity

Required qualifications

• BS or MS in a healthcare or technical degree, or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years of advanced SQL experience and 2-3 years in the healthcare sector
• Intermediate to advanced understanding of medical charts and health insurance claims data
• Familiarity with prompt engineering and using Claude/OpenAI for medical record identification
• Ability to troubleshoot SQL and prompt-related errors effectively
