SQL Server Administrator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a SQL Server Administrator to manage and support SQL Server environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer, monitor, and maintain on-premises SQL Servers, Azure SQL Databases, and Azure SQL Managed Instances
• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, backup, and recovery planning for all SQL environments
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in both on-premises and cloud environments

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience managing SQL Server environments
• Strong experience with Azure SQL Databases and Managed Instances
• Proficiency in T-SQL, PowerShell, and database automation scripting
• Microsoft SQL and Azure certifications (Azure Database Administrator Associate preferred)
