SQL Server Database Administrator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a SQL Server Database Administrator (DBA) to manage and maintain Microsoft SQL Server database environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain SQL Server 2016-2022 environments across development, test, and production
• Design, implement, and maintain high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions
• Monitor database performance and conduct index optimization, statistics updates, and query tuning

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of experience as a SQL Server DBA in mid-to-large enterprise environments
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL Server 2016, 2019, and 2022
• Expertise in SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and Dynamic Management Views (DMVs)
• Strong experience in Azure Government Cloud environments
