SQL Server Database Administrator
Job Summary
To support a large-scale Microsoft SQL Server environment, the contract SQL Server Database Administrator will manage and administer numerous SQL Server databases, ensuring high availability, performance tuning, and automation while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and manage SQL Server databases, ensuring availability, performance, and security compliance
- Design and support high availability and disaster recovery solutions, leveraging AI-driven tools for proactive monitoring
- Perform advanced performance optimization and automation of routine DBA tasks using T-SQL and PowerShell
Required Qualifications
- 5-9 years of experience as a SQL Server DBA in large enterprise environments
- Hands-on experience with SQL Server versions 2012 through 2022
- Strong analytical skills with advanced troubleshooting capabilities
- Experience with high availability and disaster recovery solutions
- Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
