Key Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted technical advisor during the sales cycle, from discovery through proof of concept and technical close
• Design and articulate SQL Server monitoring, security, and management solutions tailored to customer environments
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, and Marketing to ensure accurate positioning and support RFP responses

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server as a database administrator or engineer
• 3+ years in a pre-sales or customer-facing technical role within a software or database management organization
• Strong understanding of SQL Server administration, including performance monitoring and database maintenance
• Experience with enterprise SQL Server environments, including high availability and disaster recovery architectures
• Familiarity with database security and compliance requirements such as SOX, HIPAA, or PCI
