SQL Support Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a SQL Support Specialist to troubleshoot performance and data issues for production databases.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform SQL data manipulation, troubleshooting, and complex performance tuning in cloud environments
• Resolve technical issues, including data inconsistencies and application errors, while collaborating with customers
• Work with engineering to implement performance optimizations and monitor production environments

Required Qualifications

• Proven expertise in writing complex Microsoft Transact-SQL queries and troubleshooting database components
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft Reporting Services or similar reporting tools
• Experience managing SQL Server Database Administration in AWS or Azure environments
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience in database support
• Hands-on experience with software migrations and upgrades
