Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr Abstractor - Oncology Data Specialist (CTR).

Key Responsibilities:

Screening disease indices, pathology reports, and clinical documents for reportable cancer cases
Abstracting and coding core data items from medical records in compliance with standards
Compiling data into reports for analysis, maintaining cancer registry database, and identifying trends in clinical data

Required Qualifications:

High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of job-specific experience
Oncology Data Specialist certification/CTR preferred
1 year of abstracting experience
