Sr Auditor Zero Balance

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Auditor, Zero Balance position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review documents to determine correct calculation/pricing of accounts, identify procedure/diagnosis codes, and qualify claims for additional reimbursement
• Research underpayment issues, identify risk areas, and develop specifications to troubleshoot underpayment risks
• Conduct review of zero-balance hospital accounts to identify underpaid claims and make recommendations for process improvements

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience preferred
• Minimum 4 years of experience working with large sets of healthcare data
• Minimum 5 years of experience in research and analysis
• Minimum 3 years of experience with managed care contracts and hospital reimbursement
• Minimum 3 years of experience working with inpatient and outpatient claims
