Sr Director Large Farm Underwriting - Agribusiness

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr Director, Large Farm Underwriting - Agribusiness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop strategic and business plans, identify operational opportunities, and translate strategic plans into organizational direction
• Manage overall portfolio composition to achieve favorable results and approve accounts exceeding underwriter authority
• Analyze complex scenarios, develop innovative solutions, and communicate strategic direction to internal and external partners

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, MBA in business or related field preferred
• Completion of INS and/or AU designations, CIC or CPCU preferred
• Ten years of commercial lines underwriting experience, large market experience preferred
• Extensive knowledge of commercial property/casualty insurance operations and products
• Proven ability to manage complex technical insurance, reinsurance, and captive insurance company issues
