Sr Engineering Manager Performance Tuning

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr Engineering Manager, Performance Tuning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and participate in investigation and coding of solutions in Node.js and/or Golang
• Hire and develop performance engineers, drive performance improvements, and work cross-functionally with various teams
• Nurture a shift left culture for performance, improve knowledge of performance management techniques, and collaborate on system enhancements

Required Qualifications:

• Experience in software engineering management in a remote work environment
• Proficiency in Node.js and familiarity with Golang, cloud-native distributed systems, APM tools, and databases like PostgreSQL and MongoDB
• Ability to design and execute performance experiments and a passion for driving performance improvement in software
