Sr Financial Reporting Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Financial Reporting Accountant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leads part of the accounting close cycle, prepares and reviews journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and reporting files
• Researches and documents accounting issues, prepares accounting analyses, and addresses new or complex transactions
• Leads ad hoc projects, identifies solutions and process improvements, and helps develop and execute project plans

Required Qualifications:

• BA/BS in Accounting or related field preferred
• 3+ years of work-related experience
• Reinsurance reporting experience preferred
• CPA, CMA a plus
• Provide subject matter expertise to internal partners
