Sr Healthcare Economics Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr Healthcare Economics Consultant - Remote.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret and analyze claims, capitation, membership data, and recommend best approaches in support of underwriting, actuarial and utilization analyses
• Lead projects to completion by contributing to database creation, statistical modeling and financial reports
• Perform complex data validation and conceptual analyses, create and update automated processes within client databases, and serve as a subject matter expert to health plans in support of value-based contracting strategy

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in an analytics capacity with evidence of creative, proactive problem-solving
• Experience in the healthcare insurance industry, preferably with previous exposure to medical claims data
• Intermediate or higher proficiency with MS Excel and PowerPoint, and beginner or higher proficiency with SQL, SAS, R, and/or other statistical programs
• Proven ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
