Sr. Manager, Field Engineering
Job Summary
Leading a team of Solutions Architects, the full-time Sr. Manager, Field Engineering will focus on driving technical sales and enhancing customer success within the Financial Services segment, while operating in a remote capacity with a preference for candidates in the Northeast or Midwest.
Key responsibilities
- Hire, train, and develop a high-performing team of Solutions Architects to support enterprise software and data solutions
- Establish and maintain relationships with clients and internal teams to ensure successful implementation of Databricks' Data Intelligence Platform
- Guide the team in technical qualifications, product demonstrations, and best practices to enhance customer engagement and satisfaction
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in the data space with a focus on technical products such as data warehousing or machine learning
- Proven experience in building and leading technical pre-sales teams, including hiring and mentoring
- Strong understanding of consumption-driven business models and client success strategies
- Experience fostering partnerships with systems integrators and independent software vendors
- Technical proficiency to engage with engineering talent and influence architectural decisions
