Job Summary

Leading a team in a remote capacity, the full-time Sr. Manager, Statutory Investment Accounting will oversee accounting, reporting, and control activities for the derivative investment portfolio, ensuring regulatory compliance and financial accuracy while driving operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Manages the execution of monthly statutory close activities for derivative investments, ensuring timely and compliant financial reporting
• Oversees statutory hedge accounting activities and prepares statutory reporting schedules in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Leads process improvements and project activities, enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and reporting quality within the investment accounting function

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in derivative accounting or related finance activities
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Proven ability to drive innovation and adapt to change
• Strong analytical skills relevant to accounting practices
• Experience in managing and developing a team of accounting professionals
