Sr SRE - Federal Operations Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr Site Reliability Engineer in the Federal sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational duties for FedRamp cloud-based products including deployments, on-call, and incident management
• Management of all cloud infrastructure elements such as AWS GovCloud, private cloud, containers, and VMs
• Operate and enhance monitoring systems, contribute to DevOps best practices within the group

Qualifications/Training/Education:

• 3+ years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer
• Experience working within High/Moderate FedRamp authorization levels, IL5/IL6 a plus
• Relevant experience in Operations or Engineering environment, coding experience in Python
• Experience with container-based architectures (AWS ECS / Kubernetes) and infrastructure as code tools (Ansible, Terraform)
• Strong understanding of web security, protocols, networking fundamentals, and cloud architecture
