Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Systems/Software Engineer (Systems/Applications Analyst, Sr).

Key Responsibilities:

• Implementing and supporting database-driven web applications and automation tools for the Knight Diagnostic Laboratory and Knight Biolibrary
• Developing, supporting, and enhancing research, laboratory, and administration systems through system requirements analysis
• Developing software documentation, application interfaces, system integrations, and conducting ETL processes

Required Qualifications:

• Master's degree in computer science, a related field, or a clinical field with 4 years of related work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proficiency in at least one modern object-oriented language such as Java, C#, or C++
• Experience with SQL language and database development, dynamic languages, and software frameworks/libraries
• Experience in writing business requirements, technical use cases, design documents, and test cases
• Thorough understanding of data models, database design concepts, and the software development life cycle
