SRE Architect

Job Summary

Seeking a visionary SRE Architect, the full-time role will define and lead enterprise-scale Site Reliability Engineering practices, focusing on cloud architecture and operational excellence while engaging with C-suite stakeholders to drive resilience transformation programs.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement an enterprise-wide SRE operating model, including frameworks for reliability governance and error budget policies
• Architect cost-optimized cloud infrastructure and lead cloud cost governance programs, ensuring data security and disaster recovery strategies
• Build a Center of Excellence for SRE, developing standards and training curricula while engaging with clients to articulate SRE value propositions

Required qualifications

• B.S. / M.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 15+ years of experience in infrastructure, platform engineering, or SRE disciplines, with at least 8 years in a senior/principal SRE or cloud architect role
• Deep expertise in AWS and hybrid-cloud architectures, along with proficiency in Kubernetes/OpenShift and Infrastructure as Code tools
• Proven track record of delivering large-scale SRE transformation programs for enterprise clients
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional or equivalent certifications preferred
