SRE Expert
Job Summary
Owning the north-south fabric that connects the AI cloud to global networks, the full-time SRE Expert will drive automation for EVPN/BGP operations while managing multi-tenant network infrastructures across various data centers, with remote work options available in San Jose, CA, or Austin, TX.
Key responsibilities
- Manage EVPN-VxLAN data center fabrics for network isolation and workload mobility
- Oversee multi-site DCI overlays and underlays, ensuring consistent L2/L3 services across US data centers
- Implement network automation using tools like Ansible and Terraform to enhance operational efficiency
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in data center network engineering with hands-on EVPN-VxLAN deployment
- Strong expertise in BGP, including eBGP/iBGP, route policies, and traffic engineering
- Proficiency with Arista EOS and/or Cisco NX-OS in spine-leaf data center environments
- Experience with firewall platforms such as Palo Alto or Fortinet for security management
- Familiarity with network automation tools and a runbook-as-code mindset
