SRE Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for an SRE Lead to manage production reliability for a multi-region platform handling high-load RPC traffic.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the SRE team, overseeing hiring, onboarding, and performance reviews
• Ensure end-to-end production reliability and define SLIs/SLOs in collaboration with engineering teams
• Manage incident response processes and lead capacity planning efforts across regions and chains

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in SRE/infrastructure/production engineering, with at least 1 year in a leadership role
• Strong skills in Linux, networking, and production incident debugging
• Experience with distributed, multi-region, high-load systems
• Hands-on experience with orchestration tools like Nomad and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with observability practices, including metrics, logs, and alerting
