SRE Platform Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting the development and operation of a Kubernetes-based platform, the remote SRE Platform Engineer will manage Kubernetes clusters, optimize platform performance, and collaborate with engineering teams to enhance reliability and compliance in regulated environments.
Key responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and support Kubernetes clusters across on-premises and AWS environments to ensure reliability and operational stability
- Monitor and troubleshoot platform performance, participating in on-call rotations and optimizing observability and incident response
- Develop infrastructure automation using Infrastructure as Code tools and contribute to CI/CD pipelines and operational tooling
Required qualifications
- 4-6 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or related fields
- Strong hands-on experience managing Kubernetes clusters in production environments
- Solid Linux administration skills with experience in enterprise environments
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Proficiency in scripting or programming languages like Python, Go, or Ruby
