SSH Engineer

Job Summary

To support the Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and IT teams, the remote contract SSH Engineer will manage the entire SSH key lifecycle, focusing on discovery, automation, and risk assessment while utilizing tools like Venafi and PowerShell.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize scanning tools to identify SSH keys across various operating systems
• Automate SSH key lifecycle processes, including provisioning and remediation
• Integrate Venafi with security tools and maintain an accurate inventory of SSH keys

Required Qualifications

• Experience with agent-based and agentless scanning tools for SSH key identification
• Proficiency in customizing PowerShell scripts for SSH key discovery
• Basic understanding of public-key cryptography and SSH key functions
• Familiarity with integrating Venafi with Active Directory and CyberArk
• Knowledge of role-based access control for managing SSH key permissions
