Stack Product Engineer
Job Summary
To support the development of healthcare technology, the full-time Stack Product Engineer will take ownership of a Ruby on Rails web platform, focusing on improving SEO, performance, and user experience while contributing to broader Python and React initiatives in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Grow into primary ownership of the Ruby on Rails web platform, shipping enhancements and fixes
- Identify and prioritize improvements to SEO, performance, usability, and reliability based on customer and business needs
- Contribute to other products built with Python and React, using AI-assisted development tools for implementation and debugging
Required qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience building and maintaining production web applications
- Experience with Ruby on Rails or meaningful exposure with the ability to ramp up quickly
- Comfortable reading and contributing to Python and React codebases
- Experience working across frontend, backend, and relational databases such as Postgres
- Good product judgment with the ability to make progress without fully defined requirements
