Staff Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Accountant.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable, ensuring accurate transaction recording and cash-flow management
• Complete month-end close procedures and prepare financial statements in compliance with GAAP
• Oversee vendor records and administer the purchasing card program, including annual 1099 reporting

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a non-profit organization
• Experience with financial systems such as QuickBooks or Sage Intacct
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite
• Permanent work authorization in the United States is required
