Staff Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Accountant to join their finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the integrity of financial records through general ledger maintenance and transaction processing
• Assist in monthly and year-end close activities and prepare financial statements
• Track grant revenue and expenses, ensuring compliance with financial reporting requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a nonprofit setting
• Understanding of nonprofit accounting principles and fund accounting
• Experience with accounting software, such as QuickBooks
• Strong Excel skills and organizational abilities
