Staff Accountant

Job Summary

Seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant (CPA Preferred) to join the Finance department in a full-time remote position, responsible for maintaining financial records, performing account reconciliations, and assisting with monthly close and regulatory reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare daily cash reconciliations and journal entries for monthly financial close
• Assist in the preparation of regulatory filings and resolve issues related to accounts and reports
• Gather data for external audits and recommend process improvements

Required qualifications

• BA/BS in Accounting
• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Solid comprehension of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar systems
• Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office products
