Staff Accountant

Job Summary

Supporting the Accounting Manager in a fully remote capacity, the Staff Accountant will manage full-cycle accounting responsibilities, drive the month-end close process, and oversee accounts payable and receivable functions.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Accounting Manager to ensure efficient and compliant department operations
• Drive the month-end close process by managing journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
• Own end-to-end accounts payable and receivable processes, including vendor setup and invoice tracking

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• 3+ years of full-cycle accounting experience with a working understanding of US GAAP
• Hands-on experience managing accounts payable and receivable, including active collections
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including vlookup, pivot tables, and macros
• Experience with QuickBooks, Bill.com, and Concur is strongly preferred
