Staff Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Accountant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entry preparation, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial statement analysis
• Assist with the preparation of financial reports and analyses, providing insights to senior management for decision-making
• Support external audits, including the preparation of audit schedules and addressing audit inquiries

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 0-3 years of progressive accounting experience, with a focus on general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and analysis
• Previous experience in public accounting preferred
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial analysis principles
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a collaborative team with staff at all levels
