Staff Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Accountant (Financial Compliance).

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and perform account management duties for the Department of Housing and Urban Development
• Prepare financial reports for federal and state authorities, including Medicare and Medicaid cost reports
• Assist with financial control processes, preparation of PBCs, and support during financial statement audits

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required
• Previous experience in an Accounting department required
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills required; high proficiency in Excel is a must
• A minimum of five years of general ledger accounting experience preferred
• Professional image in both appearance and behavior
