Staff Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Accountant to support financial operations and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in month-end close cycle and prepare journal entries in compliance with GAAP
• Assist with internal management reporting and external reporting needs
• Prepare financial information for audits and maintain compliance with accounting regulations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, Accounting, or Finance; High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 1-2+ years of accounting/finance experience
• Knowledge of GAAP and Statutory accounting standards
• Intermediate Excel skills, including complex formulas and pivot tables
• Experience with accounting software, preferably Workday
