Staff Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Accountant to support accurate financial reporting and ensure financial data integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform monthly close activities in accordance with US GAAP
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and manage accounts receivable billing
• Prepare and file multi-state sales tax reports and support annual audit requests

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; field of study in Accounting preferred
• 2-4 years of experience in a Staff Accountant role
• Direct experience with general ledger account reconciliations and journal entries
• Working knowledge of GAAP and accrual-based accounting
• Experience using accounting software and proficiency in Excel
