Staff Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Accountant to join their expanding Accounting team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the month-end close process by preparing journal entries and reconciliations
• Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial data
• Gather documentation for internal and external audits and support compliance with accounting policies

Required Qualifications

• Accounting Degree
• Knowledge of current GAAP accounting standards
• Experience preparing documentation for external auditors preferred
• Knowledge of accounting software and systems, particularly SAP is a plus
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (i.e. pivot tables, V-lookups, etc)
