Staff Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Accountant.

Key Responsibilities

• Support month-end and period-end close through journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals
• Reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts, including cash, payroll, AP, and inventory
• Assist with the preparation of monthly reporting packages and variance analysis

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field
• 1-3 years of accounting experience, ideally including public accounting or Big 4 exposure
• Hands-on experience with month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and accrual accounting
• Working knowledge of GAAP and financial statement structure
• Comfortable using Excel and accounting systems (ERP experience such as SAP is a plus)
