Staff Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Accountant to join its Finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day accounting operations, including processing accounts payable and receivable transactions
• Prepare and post month-end close journal entries and perform reconciliations
• Assist with audit preparation and support the transition of accounting functions in-house

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of 3+ years of general accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Experience in core accounting principles and month-end close processes
• Experience in a private company environment or transitioned from public to private accounting for at least one year
• Proactive and self-driven with a strong sense of initiative
