Staff Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Accountant to join their growing Accounting Team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting operations, including posting journal entries and preparing account reconciliations
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes and support accounts payable and receivable activities
• Participate in process improvements and assist with ad hoc projects related to system implementations and integrations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in public accounting or a PE-backed environment
• Strong understanding of GAAP and core accounting principles
• Proficiency with Excel and experience with Netsuite or similar ERP systems
• Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
