Staff Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Accountant responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, focusing on accounts receivables and related revenue activity.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare weekly statement/invoice files and verify invoices and adjustments according to company policy
• Load and reconcile daily cash receipts and ensure accurate application to customer accounts
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up with customers to resolve outstanding balances

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field required
• 2-4 years of accounting experience with a focus on accounts receivable or billing
• Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or service-based environments preferred
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and AR processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis)
