Staff Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Accountant to join their team on a contract basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Input high volumes of invoices manually, ensuring accuracy and proper coding across accounts
• Perform thorough bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records
• Collaborate with the team to address accounting cleanup needs and resolve discrepancies

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in invoice entry and bank reconciliations
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop is required
• Strong Excel skills, including the ability to sort and manipulate large datasets
• Knowledge of corporate tax, sales tax, and journal entries
• Ability to work independently with remote access tools
