Staff Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Accountant to assist with general accounting functions and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in month-end and year-end accounting close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
• Manage inventory reconciliations, cost accounting, and sales tax compliance
• Analyze financial data and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve accounting processes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in e-commerce or retail
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Experience with sales tax compliance and inventory accounting is preferred
