Staff Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Accountant to manage key general ledger functions and ensure the integrity of financial records.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the Fixed Asset lifecycle, including acquisitions and disposals
• Maintain the Insurance Accounting manual and ensure compliance with company policy
• Execute month-end close journal entries and assist in preparing financial statements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 3 - 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or analytical support roles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets with a solid understanding of accounting principles
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism in handling sensitive financial information
• Experience with accounting software and bank account reconciliation is a plus
