Staff Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Accountant.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the monthly and quarterly close process, including preparation of financial statements, journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, improve processes, and support business needs
• Identify and implement opportunities to leverage AI and automation tools to streamline accounting processes and enhance data accuracy

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred
• 4+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with a mix of public accounting and industry experience
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and experience with financial reporting and close processes
• Experience leveraging AI and automation tools to improve accounting workflows
• Experience in a fast-paced Software as a Service (SaaS) environment
