Staff Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Accountant to join their team remotely in Kelowna, BC.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, resolving discrepancies
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes and audits

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Undergraduate degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, or Accounting
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong understanding of IFRS and core accounting principles
• Experience with NetSuite or other ERP systems
• CPA designation complete or in progress is considered an asset
