Staff Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Accountant to support a non-profit organization in a fully remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Process high-volume accounts payable transactions accurately and on schedule
• Prepare and post journal entries, and reconcile general ledger activity
• Assist with sales and corporate tax-related accounting tasks and support general accounting activities

Required Qualifications

• Experience in staff accounting with exposure to accounts payable and general ledger responsibilities
• Working knowledge of journal entry preparation and month-end accounting procedures
• Familiarity with corporate tax and sales tax processes
• Proficiency with accounting systems such as Sage Intacct and Emburse
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize deadlines in a remote work environment
